Amazingly inappropriate

The link above is via The Gimp Parade:

Even through my French is not good enough any longer to translate what the host was trying to ask his two guests with impairments, All I could get was “problem,” two attempts to apologize and something that might have been “sex” between the host’s gusts of nervous, hysterical laughter.

Chacun a son gout, I suppose but I found the whole clip to be peculiarly deguelasse.

It was very uncomfortable to watch. In describing it to a friend, I couldn’t help but laugh myself (not doubled over hysterical laughter, I might add), not because it was ha ha funny, but because it was so unbelievable. But I can understand this host to an extend. An old neighbour of my dad’s was this rather kookie woman. I was coming home one day at the same time as her and I asked the typical polite “how are you?” and her reply was “Actually, I’m not so great. My mother was murdered by her lover”. It was unexpected and completely not what I thought I was going to hear that I couldn’t help but laugh a little. It was SO embarrassing. I apologized and told her it wasn’t funny, but I was so shocked. She completely understood, but… AWkward!!

This tv host’s example isn’t quite the same, but once you start laughing and you’re nervous, it’s hard to stop. Not an excuse, but I can understand a bit.
