Forbidding food and water?
No, I’m not talking about Abu Ghraib. Or Guantanamo Bay.
It happened yesterday (and may still be happening now) to a select group of our fellow citizens in Tennesee. They aren’t in jail. They aren’t in prison, or in a hospital.
They are disabled protestors who have occupied the capitol building in Tennesee, protesting the Governor’s removal of 323,000 from the state’s Medicaid program.
Governor Bresden passed into law a law forbidding food and water in the Tennesee Capitol building.
Please contact Governor Bresden and ask why food and water have been forbidden, and formally request that food and water be allowed for the protesters in the Capitol.
The website http://geotenncare.blogspot.com, has his email and all relevant information about this fight. I’ve already sent my email. Please consider sending one of your own.

Thanks for your support for the folks who are on the firing line. Together we may be able to change some things.
By the way, you have a good looking blog site.
